A simple dish for dinner. Water Convolvulus is commonly known as Kang Kong in Malay dishes. Usually it is stir fry with belacan, which is my favourite dish. This dish can be either eaten with rice or porridge. Yummy!
Ingredients:
250g water-convolvulus (cut into 5cm lengths)
3 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp dried prawns (soaked and chopped finely)
3 shallots (chopped finely)
2 cloves garlic (chopped finely)
1 tsp belacan
2 red chilli (chopped)
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp chicken stock granules
1. Heat up oil in wok, saute dried prawns, shallots, garlic, red chilli till fragrant. Stir in water-convolvulus. Add in sugar and chicken stock granules. Stir fry till vege is cooked. Serve hot.
